The Porcupine Caribou Herd co-management regime

Based on a 1987 Canada-US bilateral agreement, this arrangement establishes an International Porcupine Caribou Board to address issues relating to harvesting and habitat protection for this herd which migrates annually between Yukon and Alaska. A notable feature of the arrangement is its commitment to the idea of co-management.
