During the summer and fall of 2005, surveys of indigenous inhabitants of coastal villages in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug were conducted. The goal of this work was to gather information about whether or not the people surveyed have noticed any changes in the climate, and if so, how these changes are affecting the lives of people in the region. In the result you see clear witness of negative climate impacts.
