The Greenland Self-Government arrangement

Since 1979, Greenland has operated under a Home-Rule arrangement within the Kingdom of Denmark. A revised and updated Self-Government Agreement in 2009, has expanded the authority of the Home-Rule Government. This arrangement permits a large measure of self-government in Greenland without severing all ties to Denmark.
